Political (Climate) Change Propaganda in Australia

In my article “More Climate Change Propaganda in Australia .. ”on 15th April (Note 9) I talked about how Penny Wrong, the Australian Minister for Climate Change, Energy Efficiency and Water, used her political skills to push the UN-sponsored propaganda (Note 10) about catastrophic climate change from our use of fossil fuels. She did this with the whole-hearted support of Australian Premier Kevin Rudd who only five months earlier on 6th November had presented QUOTE: .. one of the strongest statements seen from a Head of Government of a ‘developed’ nation on climate change .. UNQUOTE (Note 1) to The Lowy Institute.

More Climate Change Propaganda in Australia on 12th April

Australian Minister for Climate Change, Energy Efficiency and Water Penny Wrong gave a “Faculty of Law Public Lecture Series” presentation (Note 1) at the Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane on 12 April 2010. It certainly was a beautiful piece of political propaganda, using much of what Hitler used in Germany and what many religions use today. It had it all, the warnings of avoidable catastrophe, the finger pointing at the culprits (the common enemy), the sacrifice necessary to avoid the catastrophe, the promise of reward for compliance, the mingling of truth with fiction and of course, the “messianic words” to be trusted unquestioningly. Wong covered many main points but I present a few observations about them.

Politics, The Media & The UK's “Climategate” Enquiries

On 31st March the BBC News TV channel enthusiastically announced the Commons Science and Technology Committee’s whitewash of the University of East Anglia’s Climate Research Unit’s scientific practices. I then published my article “Can There be an Independent Investigation of IPCC?” (Note 6) concentrating on the UK enquiries - although there are others going on elsewhere which may be less of a whitewash, e.g. in the USA.

CHANGE IN GREENPEACE’S POLITICAL TACTICS

Greenpeace purports to be a believer in using peaceful action to influence political and public opinion, but it looks as though that claim may be shown to have little substance. This is mainly because of the fact that since the revelations of Climategate and the subsequent and incessant IPCC-gates people around the globe are starting to realise just how much of a confidence trick the UN and its supporters are trying to pull with the claim than humans are causing catastrophic global climate change through using fossil fuels. Greenpeace fanatics are becoming more and more frustrated, with the threat of punitive action being taken against those of us who dare to reject their doctrine.

THE LATEST UK (& AUSTRALIAN) SHENANNIGANS – ELECTIONEERING

The last few days have seen an intensification of the electioneering propaganda by the three major UK political parties, so let’s take a closer look at some of the empty promises being made by our not-so-honourable representatives. (If you’re puzzled by that last phrase I remind you of the politicians expenses scandal so beautifully exposed by the Daily Telegraph - Note 1. The bottom line for me on that one is that regardless of whether or not a particular PM personally abused the expenses/allowances system, they all new what was going on, did nothing to stop it therefore were all culpable).
